Our Story
Sundown River Ranch is a 2 ½ acre farmstead in the heart of Whitman County located on what some have called “the prettiest place in the Palouse”.
The venue sits on a plateau overlooking the Palouse River as it winds through the landscape with spectacular views of Steptoe Butte and Kamiak Butte. Two of the most iconic landmarks on the Palouse.
Whether you watch the sunset on the shoulder of Steptoe Butte from the dance floor, or walk a little ways out into the field to capture a photo of the Palouse River flowing straight towards the setting Sun, you’ll be rewarded for making your way to this remote location.
Experience the spacious, quiet beauty of the Palouse while you celebrate and enjoy the conveniences of ample parking, fully functioning restrooms, children’s play area, and a quaint rustic bar.
The venue also provides a Bridal cottage, Groomsmen dressing room, cornhole game area, reception area, and spacious grounds for ceremonies outside.
